Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC achieved the first position in the Remittance Award 2026 conferred by the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment. The bank earned this recognition for securing the highest remittance inflow during the 2024-25 fiscal year. The ministry's Adviser Asif Nazrul handed over the award to Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of the bank, at a ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on Wednesday.
