23 booters report to training camp for WC, AFC qualifiers

Twenty three national booters reported to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) office Sunday to join national training camp for the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers/AFC Cup Qualifiers, reports UNB.

Bangladesh team will play a FIFA Friendly against Malaysia on August 29 as per the invitation of Football Association of Malaysia and will leave for Australia to play their away match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against World Cup playing Australian National team in Perth on September 3.

After return from Australia, the Bangladesh National team will play their home match against Jordan on September 8 in Dhaka.

Earlier, Bangladesh grouped with Australia, Jordan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to play home and away basis qualifying round matches.

Selected players are: Mamunul Islam Mamun, Shahidul Alam, Rayhan Hasan, Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Yeasin Khan, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Mohammad Linkon, Hemonta Vinsent Biswas, Jamal Bhuyan, Sohel Rana, Monaem Khan Raju and Mohammad Toklis Ahmed (of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club) ; Rasel Mahmud, Topu Barman, Zahid Hossain, Jahid Hasan Ameli and Atiquer Rahman Meshu (of Sheikh Rusel KC) ; Jewel Rana and Ashraful Islam Rana o(f Mohammedan SC) , Nasirul Islam Nasir, Emon Mahmud and Abdul Baten Mojumder Komal (of Abahani Ltd) and Mohammed Enamul Hoque of Muktijodda Sangsad KC.
