Four teams-Jessore, Jhalakhati, Manikganj and Kushtia-won their respective first phase matches of the 33rd National Cricket Championship at different venues across the country Monday, reports UNB. In the day's matches: Jessore (136/5) beat Jhenaidah (135/10) by 5 wickets at Kushtia Stadium; Jhalakhati (81/10) beat Pirojpur (73/10) by one run in D/L method at Pirojpur Stadium; Manikganj (176/10) beat Sherpur (129/10) by 47 runs at Faridpur Stadium while Kushtia (190/10) beat Chuadanga (74/10) by 70 runs in D/L method at Satkhira Stadium.
