Eight District Sports Association (DSA) teams advanced to the quarterfinals of the Popular Life Insurance 14th Inter-district Women's Volleyball Tournament eliminating their rivals after Saturday's league matches at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
The DSA teams are: Rajshahi, Kishoreganj, Pabna, Satkhira, Chittagong, Rangpur, Khulna and Narail.
In the day's matches, Narail beat Kushtia by 25-13, 25-11 points, Kishoreganj beat Tangail by 25-15, 25-16 points, Rangpur beat Sylhet by 25-12, 25-02 points, Satkhira beat Manikganj by 25-07, 25-05 points, and Rajshahi beat Kishorganj.
