AB Bank becomes team sponsor of national cricket team

AB Bank has become the team sponsor of the national cricket team for the ICC World Twenty20 that will begin on April 30 in West Indies, reports UNB.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and AB Bank Friday at the conference room of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city.
BCB Acting CEO Mizan Uddin Chowdhury Sujan and AB Bank Vice-president M Javed Tariq signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
Under the agreement, AB Bank will provide Tk 2.5 million (25 lakh) to BCB for the national team for the two group matches of the first round.
As per the agreement, if Bangladesh qualifies for the second round in the World Cup the sponsors would provide additional U$ 5000 to BCB for each match.
AB Bank will be allowed to use their logo on T-shirts during the match day and the logo on cap during the practice sessions, as per the ICC regulations.
