AB Bank Limited, a private sector bank, has been confirmed as the Bangladesh national cricket team's official sponsor at the coming ICC Twenty20 World Championship in South Africa, reports UNB.
According to a BCB source, AB Bank Limited won the rights to sponsor the South Africa-bound national team as the highest bidder.
Three bidders dropped their schedules for the team sponsorship on August 15.
Bangladesh, placed in Group A of the first-ever Twenty20 World Championship with South Africa and West Indies, will play their first match against West Indies on September 13 in Johannesburg.
