Abahani emerge top in Group C

Dhaka Abahani topped the Group C after they played out to a goalless draw with Chittagong Abahani in the last Group C encounter held Sunday evening at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, reports BSS.

Dhaka Abahani's Hungarian forward Szabolos Czorba hit the crosspiece in the 43rd and 49th minutes, and their Nigerian forward Tayo Fabiyi also hit the crosspiece in the 59th minute.

Chittagong Abahani forward Khaled Ahmed saw his header returned to play after hitting the Dhaka Abahani's crosspiece in the 82nd minute.

The quarterfinals line- up is - Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club vs Brothers Union, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited vs Soccer Club, Feni, Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra vs Chittagong Abahani and Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra vs Dhaka Abahani Limited.
