Abahani share top slot beating Team BJMC

Dhaka Abahani Limited took a joint lead in the Bangladesh Premier Football League with Federation Cup champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club beating Team BJMC by 1-0 goal at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.

With the day's feat, Dhaka Abahani Limited and star-studded Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club topped the league table with unbeaten run securing 13 points each from five matches.

Mohammad Jamal scored the match-winning goal in the very 4th minute of the match.

Today's matches: Soccer Club, Feni vs Ctg Abahani Ltd (3:30 pm), Uttar Baridhara Club vs Brothers Union Club (5:30 pm).

Meanwhile, Abahani Ltd beat Shadharan Bima KS by 7-0 goal in the lone match of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the city Thursday.

Puskar Khisha Mimo, Hasan Jubaier Niloy and Sheikh Mohammad Nannu struck twice each while Ashraful Islam netted other goal for the winners.
