The final match of the Abdus Samad Memorial Football Tournament was held at the Dhanshail High School playground in Sherpur on December 13. Bharera football team lifted the trophy at the end of the match by beating Bager Bhita Football team by 1-0 in tiebreaker.
A total of 10 football teams from different upazilas of Sherpur and Jamalpur districts participated in the monthlong tournament held in memory of Abdus Samad, founder headmaster of the Dhanshail High School.
