The Aga Khan Gold Cup Golf Tournament has got off to a fine start at the Kurmitola Golf Course.
Major General Mizanur Rahman Khan, Area Commander, Logistics Area, Dhaka and Vice President, Kurmitola Golf Club did the ceremonial inauguration as the chief guest by teeing off on Friday morning, according to a press release.
Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah, Club Captain, Kurmitola Golf Club, Brigadier General Abdiur Reza Khan (Retd), Chairman of Tournament Committee, Kurmitola Golf Club, Colonel Sardar Hassan Kabir (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, Kurmitola Golf Club, Lieutenant Colonel Md Abdul Bari (Retd), General Manager, Golf Operations, Kurmitola Golf Club, and Sulaiman Ajanee, President of His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Bangladesh, among others, were also present.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held this evening (Saturday) at the Kurmitola Golf Club.
