All-round Dhaka Dynamites register fourth win in BPL

Dhaka Dynamites took solo lead in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket crushing Rajshahi Kings by 68 runs in their 6th match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in the city on Saturday, reports UNB.
With the day's 4th win, Dhaka Dynamites comfortably dominated the league table securing nine points from six matches while Rajshahi Kings were in the 5th slot in the seven-team league with their previous credit of four points from six outings.
Khulna Titans and Sylhet Sixers followed the leader neck and neck securing seven points each playing six and seven matches respectively.
Sent into bat first in the day's match, Shakib-Al Hasan-led Dhaka Dynamites piled up a huge total of 201 for 7 in 20 overs, featuring two good partnerships in the opening and 6th wicket stand.
West Indian opening batsman Evin Lewis pairing with former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi scored 53 runs off just 25 balls in the opening stand and later another West Indian Kieron Pollard partnering with Sri Lankan former captain Kumar Sangakkara scored 62 runs in the 6th wicket stand, enabling Dhaka Dynamites to make a comfortable total.
Opening batsman Evin Lewis quick-fired 38-ball 65 runs with 10 fours and one six to be adjudged man of the match, another West Indian Kieron Pollard, who quick-fired 24-ball 55 runs against Khulna Titans, scored another half century hammering an unconquered 52 runs off just 25 balls, with five fours and three sixes.
Kumar Sangakkara contributed 22-ball for 28 runs with the help of three boundaries, former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi made eight-ball 15 runs with three fours, one down Jahurul Islam scored six-ball 13 runs and captain Shakib Al Hasan made run a ball 11 with one six for Dhaka.
Hossain Ali grabbed three wickets for 38 runs, Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed two for 32 runs while SR Patel and Habibur Rahman took one each giving away 18 and 43 runs respectively.
Chasing a huge target, Rajshahi Kings were all out for 133 runs in 18.3 overs with two down Zakir Hasan making the team highest 36 runs off 23 ball featuring five fours and one six.
