Amal wins men's singles, doubles titles

Amal Roy of NTC won double crown in the Dhaka Open Tennis Competition as he emerged the men's singles champion Friday after clinching the men's doubles title, reports UNB.
In the day's men's singles final, Amal Roy beat teammate Ranjan Ram by 4-6, 6-2, 4-1 (ret). Earlier, Amal Roy and Ranjan Ram pair clinched the men's doubles title.
In the women's singles, Sathi Sarker of NTC became champion beating teammate Sharmin Islam Sharda 6-3, 6-1.
