ROME, Mar 23 (AFP): Italian Carlo Ancelotti has insisted he would still be in charge of English Premier League club Chelsea next season no matter what the results might be.
"My future is surely at Chelsea next season, independent of results," Ancelotti told La Stampa newspaper.
Chelsea have gone through a rough patch recently.
They were knocked out of the Champions League by Inter Milan in the last-16, and a 1-1 draw with Premiership rivals Blackburn leaving the London club four points behind leaders Manchester United in third place, but with a game in hand.
"We have a good squad which will be adjusted next season," admitted Ancelotti, adding that the Premier League had been tougher this season.
"There has been a levelling up. Last season there were four big teams (Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool), but now we can add Everton, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Manchester City."
