Engr. Mahbubul Alam, COO of Pahartali Textile and Hosiery Mills, receiving trophy from the head of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School on Wednesday The annual sports and cultural function of Mirza Ahmed Ispahani High School at Pahartali in Chattogram was held on Wednesday, says a press release.
Engr. Mahbubul Alam, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Pahartali Textile and Hosiery Mills (PTHM), a sister concern of M. M Ispahani Limited, inaugurated the programme as chief guest.
General Manager of Tea Blending and Packaging Factory Dr. Engr. Golam Mostafa and Showkat Sadek, DGM of PTHM were present as the special guests.
The chief guest handed over the crests to the students of primary and junior scholarship holders of 2019 and gave away prizes among the winning students in different events.
Besides, Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman and Professor Dr. Gaus Mihya of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Najir Ahmed, Deputy Manager of Bangladesh Bank, Bibi Mariam, Senior Officer of Agrani Bank, Shahnewaj Mamun, an eminent social worker, were present and distributed prizes among the students.
A colourful cultural function was arranged with the participation of the school students in the afternoon.
The sports teacher Abul Kalam Azad and Rozina Akter organised the whole programme. Senior teacher Arpita Ghosh and assistant teacher Mousumi Chakraborty were the presenters in the programme. The head of the school S. M. Mojibur Rahman presided over the function and thanked all.
