Bangladesh Ansar & VDP team clinched the EXIM Bank 20th National Women's Handball title beating hosts Faridpur DSA by 23-14 goals in the final at the Faridpur Stadium Monday, reports UNB.
The winners led the first half by 14-7 goals.
This was the 14th national crown for the Ansar & VDP team including 11 in a row out of the 20 national meets since its inception in 1983.
Rumi of the champions Ansar & VDP team was adjudged the best player and Tisha of Kusthia DSA was named the promising player of the tournament.
