Ansar emerge champions

Bangladesh Ansar and VDP team emerged champions in the men's group of the daylong Victory Day Gymnastics Competition held at the National Sports Council Gymnasium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
Ansar and VDP team clinched the title of the five-event meet securing all the five gold and silver medals alongside three bronzes while Jim Engineers finished distant runners-up collecting only two bronze medals.
In the age group competition, Quantum Foundation smartly clinched the title securing five gold, seven silver and five bronze medals while Dinajpur DSA became runners-up with two gold, one silver and one bronze medals.
Vice President of Bangladesh Gymnastics Federation and Managing Director of Energy Pack Engineers Enamul Haque Chowdhury Khasru inaugurated the meet in the morning while Vice President of Bangladesh Olympic Association Mizanur Rahman Manu was the chief guest at the closing function in the afternoon.
