Ansar off to flying start crushing Meherpur 37-0

Bangladesh Ansar got off to a flying start in the Exim Bank 28th National Women's Handball Championship crushing Meherpur District by 37-0 goals after dominating the first half by 20-0 at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Youth and Sports Secretary M Asadul Islam inaugurated the 14-team meet in the afternoon at a function chaired by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) President AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul. BHF General Secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was also present on the occasion.
In the day's other matches, BJMC outplayed Jamalpur District by 28-8 goals (first half 14-3), Bangladesh Police trounced Faridpur District by 22-9 goals (first half 15-5), Kishoreganj District defeated Feni District by 16-3 goals (first half 7-2) while Dinajpur District beat Narail District by 15-8 goals (first half 8-4).
