Arambagh KS thrashed Old Ideals by 40-16 goals in the Cute Premier Division Handball League at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.

The winners led the first half 16-7 goals.

Ashique scored nine and Liaquat seven goals for the winners while Billal and Kakon netted five goals each for the losers.

In the day's other match, Prime Sporting Club beat Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club by 40-33 goals after dominating the first session 23-16 at the same venue.

Imran and Ashique contributed 10 goals each for the winners while Hamidur scored 13 and Akhteruzzaman netted eight goals for the losers.
