Argentine hooligan barred: police

JOHANNESBURG, June 9 (AFP): An Argentinian football hooligan has been refused entry into World Cup host country South Africa after landing in Johannesburg from the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, police said Wednesday.
His detention on Tuesday comes after authorities deported 10 other Argentinian hooligans, known as "barra bravas", who tried to sneak into the country through Angola.
