Armin Asha clinches gold medal with new national record

Armin Asha of Narayanganj Rifles Club clinched the gold medal in the Women's 10-metre Air Pistol of the 25th National Shooting Championship with new national mark on the 3rd day at Gulshan Shooting Complex Monday, reports UNB.
Asha scored 473.9 to win gold medal with new national record. Miti Dewan of Dhaka Rifles Club earned the silver scoring 454.2 while Cynthia Naznin Tumpa of the same club bagged the bronze scoring 451.5
In the Women's 50-meter Rifles Three Positions, Tripti Dutta of BKSP Shooting Club won the gold medal scoring 654.5, Suraiya Akhter of Narayanganj Rifles Club bagged the silver scoring 632.2 while Sharmin Shilpa of Dhaka Rifles Club took the bronze scoring 627.2.
In the Men's 25-meter Pistol, Sheikh Shahadat Ahmed of Army Shooting Association clinched the gold medal scoring 519, Hafizur Rahman Dollar of Kushtia Rifles Club bagged the silver making 508 while Ripon Kumar Saha of BKSP Shooting Club took the bronze scoring 502.
Three more events- Men's 10-meter Air Pistol, Men's 50-meter Rifles Three Position and Men's Skit-- will be held on the 4th and final day today (Tuesday).
President of Bangladesh Shooting Federation Major General Mohammad Ahsabuddin will be the chief guest at the closing function and distribute the prizes.
