Bangladesh Army made a good start in the Victory Day Kabaddi League- 12 beating Fire Service and Civil Defence by 39-22 points with two lonas at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs KH Masud Siddiqui inaugurated the meet, organised by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation under the auspices of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
In the day's other match, Border Guard Bangladesh beat Bangladesh Police by 22-17 points with one lona at the same venue.
Five teams-Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Jail and Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence-are taking part in the meet.
