Ashraful hopes to flourish his return for Mohammedan

Former captain of Bangladesh National Cricket Team Mohammad Ashraful has expressed his desire to flourish his capacity for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the upcoming Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) T20, reports UNB.
Ashraful came up with the comment on the Mirpur Academy ground in the city on Saturday saying, "It's good for me to get back to play for Mohammedan. I have played for them in two seasons previously.
Every cricketer dreams to play for teams like Mohammedan and Abahani. Mohammedan won the title of Dhaka League when I last played for them."
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) was disappointed for him, Ashraful said adding: "I was dropped from matches after scoring 22 runs in the second game which made me frustrated. I would have done better if I got more chances. Anyways... the new T20 league is a great chance for me to get prepared for the 50-overs format."
In the last season, although Ashraful hit record five centuries for Kalabagan Krira Chakra, his team failed to avoid the relegation league. Ashraful was criticised for his slow batting while playing for Kalabagan.
However, Ashraful scored 665 runs on an average of 66.50, but his strike-rate was under 80.
"I don't think that (I have played slowly). It was the demand of the situation. I have scored 127 off 123 balls against Mohammedan. In most of the matches, we have lost early wickets, and that's why I needed to bat keeping the situation in mind," Ashraful backed himself saying it.
