SINGAPORE, June 27 (AFP): The chief executive of golf's Asian Tour announced his resignation on Wednesday after leading the organisation into a period of renewed growth.
Josh Burack, who cited "family reasons" for the move, joined the regional golf tour less than two years ago in October 2016.
The former sports marketing executive took over after the Asian Tour abandoned plans for a merger with the European Tour, and formed a strategic alliance with the European body instead.
"It is with mixed emotions that I have decided to leave the Tour when reaching the two-year mark," the American said in a statement.
"My two children have been urging me to travel less and spend more time with our family, so I want to respect their wishes and not have any regrets of my own later.
