Asif congratulates U-20 women footballers on win against Timor-Leste

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain congratulated on Saturday the U-20 women's football team for their 8-0 victory over Timor-Leste in the second match of the AFC Women's U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers, reports BSS.

In a congratulatory message, the adviser said this victory is a glorious moment for the country. He added that this outstanding achievement will take the country's women's football a step further.

Expressing hope for the team's future, the adviser noted, "The team's indomitable desire inspires us. I hope they will perform even better and bring more glory to the country."

The match was held At the New Laos National Stadium in Laos, Vientiane on Friday.

The adviser also congratulated the players, coaches, and everyone involved with the Football Federation.
