The Australia Women's Cricket team will arrive in Bangladesh on March 17 for their first ever tour in Bangladesh, report agencies.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revealed the schedule for the upcoming Australia Women's tour, which will feature three ODIs and three T20s.

The ODI series is part of the 2022-25 ICC Women's Championship. This tour marks the first bilateral series between Bangladesh and Australia, who have previously only met during ICC events.

All matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city. The ODIs are scheduled for March 17, 21, and 24, with all matches starting at 9:30 am. The T20s will follow on March 31, April 02, and April 04, starting at 12 pm.

Meanwhile, Cricket Australia (CA) has also announced the squad that will travel to Bangladesh.

Fast bowler Tayla Vlaeminck has been picked in the Australian women's squad for the Bangladesh tour and is in the frame to play her first match for the national side in over two years. The 25-year-old has had a wretched run with injuries including a shoulder dislocation last July while playing for Australia A.

.The selectors have dropped left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen from both the ODI and T20I squads. In recent months, Jonassen had lost her spots in the playing XI across formats. She played her last ODI in July 2023 and was dropped from the T20I side in October.

Australia squad: Alyssa Healy leads the side in both formats: Alyssa Healy (Captain), Darcie Brown, Ashleigh Gardner, Kim Garth, Grace Harris (T20s only), Alana King, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath (Vice Captain), Sophie Molineux, Beth Mooney, Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt, Annabel Sutherland, Georgia Wareham, Tayla Vlaeminck.
