B’desh, Japan FIFA friendly match today

Bangladesh national football team take on visiting Japan under-21 football team in only International FIFA Friendly match schedule to be held today (Thursday) at the country's premier venue Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports BSS.

The match kicks off at 5:00 pm.

The tickets rate for VIP of Tk 60 and gallery for Tk 30 have been fixed. The tickets are available at the different points of the city including Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and stadium gates during the match day.

The visiting team, who earlier blanked their Thai counterparts by 2-0 goals in Bangkok, has arrived Tuesday as part of their preparation for the 2016 Olympic Games qualifiers.

Ahead of the match, the coaches and captains of both the teams expressed their high hope on winning the match at a press conference held Wednesday at the BFF conference room.

Bangladesh national football team head trainer Saiful Bari Titu, team captain Mamunul Islam Mamun, Japanese trainer Teguramori Makoto and Japanese player Matsubara Ken were spoke, among others, at the press conference.
