B’desh to face UAE in AFC U-16 qualifiers today

Bangladesh will face the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Group-D qualifying round match of the AFC U-16 Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city today (Friday), reports UNB.

The qualifying round battle will begin at 6:00 pm.

On the eve of the young Asian sides' battle, Bangladesh and visiting UAE U-16 football teams practised from 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm respectively at the BNS Thursday.

In the other remaining Group D match, Saudi Arabia will face the UAE Sunday (September 20) at the same venue.

Saudi Arabia also practised a session at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Artificial turf at Motijheel Thursday afternoon.

Earlier, in the opening match hosts Bangladesh lost to Saudi Arabia by 5-1 at the same venue Wednesday.
