Bangabandhu International Squash Tournament kicks off

Bangabandhu International Squash Tournament: 2021 being inaugurated by President of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation Faruq Khan, MP, Chairman of Ispahani Group Mirza Salman Ispahani and Brigadier General Kamrul Islam (Retd), General Secretary of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation, and other officials

Ispahani-sponsored international squash tournament kicked off at Gulshan Club in the capital. This is the first international squash tournament in Bangladesh, says a press release.

To celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the tournament is titled as 'Bangabandhu International Squash Tournament: 2021'.

A total of 24 renowned foreign squash players are participating in the tournament, organised by Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation (BSRF).

It is to be mentioned that the refreshment partner of the tournament is Blender's Choice Premium Tea and the hospitality partner is Gulshan Club.

The President of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation Faruk Khan, MP, was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Mirza Salman Ispahani, Chairman of Ispahani Group, Brigadier General Kamrul Islam SPP (Retired), General Secretary of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation, Captain Saifur Rahman, President of Gulshan Club, and other officials of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation and Ispahani Group were also present at the event.

In his speech, Faruk Khan remembered the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu and the freedom fighters with great respect and thanked Ispahani and other sponsors.

Mirza Salman Ispahani paid his tribute to the Father of the Nation and thanked the organizers on behalf of the Group for giving the opportunity to sponsor such a prestigious event.
