The Bangladesh A team will take on Pakistan A team in the first four-day game at Islamabad today (Tuesday) with the players, called up for the national team, gearing up for match practice ahead of the upcoming Test series against Pakistan, reports BSS.
Players like Mushfiqur Rahim and Mominul Haque who are the integral part of the Bangladesh Test team will play the first four-dayer.
Since they have been away from competitive cricket for a long time, the match is imperative to get them into the rhythm.
Also the other players have the chance to push them for the Test selection as the selection panel led by Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu will have an eye on the series.
