Bangladesh Ansar, Rajshahi DSA reach final

Bangladesh Ansar and Rajshahi DSA moved into the final of the Spectra Group National Women's Kabaddi Championship winning their respective semifinal matches at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city Tuesday, reports UNB.

The final match will be held today (Wednesday) at 4:00 pm at the same venue. President of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation and IGP Nur Mohammad will be the chief guest in the final.

In the day's semis, Bangladesh Ansar outplayed Faridpur DSA by 38-12 points with two creditable lonas, while Rajshahi DSA beat Narail DSA by 24-12 points with one lona in the afternoon.

As per the Federation by-laws, the two losing semi-finalists - Faridpur and Narail DSA - shared the third position in championship.

Secretary General of District and Divisional Sports Organisers Parishad Ashiqur Rahman Miku distributed prizes to the third placed teams.
