Bangladesh face visiting South Africa in their crucial 2nd One Day International (ODI) of the National Polymar three-match ODI series scheduled to be held today (Sunday) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
Private satellite channel Gazi TV will telecast the match live that kicks off at 3:00 pm.
The Tigers must have to win the second match against South Africa to save the series as they went down 0-1 in the series losing the first match by eight wickets.
Despite the dismal performance in batting and bowling in first match, the cricket fans still keep their expectations on a high thinking that their heroes will be able to fight back in the second ODI against South Africa which also won the two-match T20I series.
For the first time since December 2011, Bangladesh were bowled out for less than 200 when batting first in an ODI. Their batting form was not all that good even in the India series, but they managed to get the job done, source cricket website.
The visitors did not give Bangladesh much of a chance to fight back after Rabada's hat-trick and that is where the home side are behind.
South Africa never give up, and in the second ODI, Bangladesh should be prepared to put up a fight, something they have failed to do in the series so far.
Bangladesh (possible): Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Mashrafe Mortaza, Jubair Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman.
South Africa (possible): Hashim Amla (captain), Quinton de Kock (wicket keeper), Faf du Plessis, Rilee Rossouw, David Miller, JP Duminy, Farhaan Behardien, Chris Morris, Kyle Abbott, Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir.
