Bangladesh face Indonesia today

After a thumping victory over South Korea and Malaysia, Bangladesh will face Indonesia in their third match of the fourth edition of Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi tournament scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the city, reports BSS.

Private satellite channel T-sports will telecast the match live that kicks off at 4 pm.

Prior to the third match, Bangladesh coach Abdul Jalil was found very much optimistic about winning the third match against Indonesia.

He said, "We want to win every match and take to the field with a plan like this. The same things also have been planned against Indonesia. I am not thinking about anything other than winning. After winning two matches in a row, the team is now in good shape and I can say that the way the team is playing, we'll go to the next round as the best in the group."

Commenting about the opponents, Jalil said his team does not have much experience of playing against Indonesia but the coach termed Indonesia as a tough opponent in this tournament. Not only Indonesia, each participating team of this tournament is strong in his eyes. However, the coach is only focusing his team own performance rather than the opponents.

Despite playing consecutive matches, Bangladesh has no injury problem. Abdul Jalil confirmed that everyone in the team is healthy and sound.

He said the main team played against South Korea and in the second match against Malaysia, he gave more opportunities to the players who were on the reserve bench keeping mind it that his team has to be played more matches in the tournament.

The Bangladesh coach Abdul Jalil is aiming to retain the title of fourth edition of this tournament but before he wants to confirm the semi-final spot for the team. About the tournament the coach of the red and greens said all the best teams, except India and Iran, have participated in the Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi. So it can be said that how important and challenging the tournament is.

Bangladesh Captain experienced raider Arduzzaman Munshi is also found in a happy mood after winning two consecutive matches in the tournament.

Ahead of the match against Indonesia he said: "We are not thinking about anything other than winning against Indonesia... not only Indonesia, we want to win all the matches in the whole tournament... We want to win the title and also expecting support from our fans."
