Bangladesh face Nepal today --

Bangladesh will take on host Nepal in their group A match of the SAFF U-20 Championship scheduled to be held at ANFA Complex in Nepal today (Thursday), reports BSS.

The match will kick off at 3:15 pm (BST).

After the respective group opening matches, both Bangladesh and Nepal have equal three points in the points table and both the teams already reached semifinal of the championship.

Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 2-0 goals while Nepal edged past the same opponents by a solitary goal, both their respective group opening matches. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, made exit from the championship race following their two consecutive defeats in the championship.

The today's (Thursday) group match between Bangladesh and Nepal will decide the group champions.

Bangladesh showed impressive football against Sri Lanka. Mirajul Islam gave Bangladesh a deserving lead early in the first half while Md Piyash Ahmed Nova scored the other one goal in the second half to seal the Bangladesh desired victory against the Islanders.
