Bangladesh women's hockey team face Sri Lanka in the ninth-tenth place-deciding match of the Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup scheduled to be held today (Saturday) in Muscat, Oman, reports BSS.
The match kicks off at 11:00 am Bangladesh time.
If Bangladesh is able to beat Sri Lanka, they will finish ninth otherwise they have to finish in the bottom place of the tournament.
Bangladesh, standing bottom ranked in the points table, earlier finished Group A campaign losing all their matches.
They started their Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup campaign with a losing note as they suffered a massive 19-0 goals defeat to strong China in their opening group A match and conceded 13-1 goals defeat to India in their second group match.
The girls in red and green lost 2-1 goal to Thailand in their third group A match and went down 6-1 defeat to Malaysia in ther last group match.
