Bangladesh International School emerged group G champ in the National School Football Islami Bank Tournament blanking Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School by 2-0 goals in the final at the Uttara Friends Social Field Saturday, reports BSS.
Earlier, on way to the final, Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School defeated Civil Aviation High School by 3-1 goals in penalty shootout after the regulation time ended in 1-1 draw in the first semifinal while Bangladesh International School edged past Banani Bidya Niketon by a solitary goal in the second semis, both at the same venue.
Tim Zahid Hossain, chairman of Plan Bangladesh, was the chief guest on the final and distributed the prizes.
