A 12-member Bangladesh National Kabbadi team left here for Macao Saturday to take part in the 2nd Asian Indoor Games with a hope to win at least one medal, reports UNB.
Bangladesh will compete in two disciplines -- Kabaddi and Cue Sports -- in the nine-day Asian Indoor Games beginning Friday.
Earlier, a four-member Cue Sports team out of a 16-member Bangladesh contingent reached Macao Thursday.
Although Bangladesh are not well prepared for the meet due to uncertainty for their participation, but Bangladesh are optimistic as they have a good record of winning silver and bronze medal in the Asian Games and SAFF Games.
Bangladesh team: Ziaur Rahman (captain), Al Mamum, Mozammel Haque, Kamal Hossain, Abu Saleh Musa, Enamul Haque, Andul Kader, Rabiul Islam, Bazlur Rashid and Sadekul Islam.
