Bangladesh-Pak women's 1st T20 match abandoned due to wet outfield

The first match of the four-match Women's T20 series between hosts Bangladesh and touring Pakistan was abandoned due to wet outfield at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The match, which was due to start at 2 pm (local time), was abandoned without a single ball being bowled due to wet outfield following rain.
The remaining three T20 matches between the two teams will be held today (Wednesday), October 5 and 6 while the lone ODI match is scheduled for October 8.
Pakistan team, led by Javeria Wadood reached Cox's Bazar on Monday to play the T20I series and one-off ODI match against the home team, all at Cox's Bazar.
