Bangladesh play final with Lanka today

Bangladesh moved into the final of the first South Asian Beach Games football eliminating Nepal by 5-1 goals in the last league match at Hambantota in Sri Lanka Sunday afternoon, reports UNB.
Bangladesh will play hosts Sri-Lanka in the final of the four-team competition today (Monday) at 5 pm at the same venue.
In the day's last league match, Bangladesh came from 1-0 down in the first session to outclass Nepal by 5-1 goals.
Prodip Thapa scored the lone goal for Nepal in the 7th minute of the 12-minute session (1-0).
Bangladesh came back strongly in the match scoring five goals in the second session. Ariful Islam leveled the margin in the very 2nd minute of the session (1-1).
Mohammad Robin put Bangladesh ahead in the 4th minute of the 2nd session (2-1), striker Enamul Haque increased the margin in the 8th minute (3-1) while Ariful Islam scored his second goal, the 4th for Bangladesh, in the 9th minute (4-1). Abdul Baten Majumder Komol completed the tally in the 11th minute (5-1).
Earlier, Sunday morning, Bangladesh conceded 4-12 goals defeat against hosts Sri Lanka in their 2nd league match after making a good start beating Maldives 8-3 on Saturday featuring two hattricks by Enamul Haque and Abdul Baten Komol.
Hosts Sri Lanka also made a flying start beating Nepal by 11-2 goals on Saturday.
In the Sunday's match against Sri Lanka, Abdul Baten Komol struck twice while Enamul Haque and Sabuj scored one goal each for Bangladesh, which went down by 1-6 goals in the 12-minute first session.
Arsela of Sri Lanka made a hattrick scoring five goals, Dinesh and Prodip netted two goals each while Malinga, Mofile and Ruhit scored one each for the host team.
In Sunday's other match, Nepal beat Maldives by 5-3 goals at the same venue.
