Bangladesh reach final eliminating Afghanistan

Bangladesh reached final in the eight-nation ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Under-23 Cricket Championship eliminating Afghanistan by 07 wickets in their 2nd semifinal at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur in the city on Thursday, reports UNB.
Hosts Bangladesh will play two-time runners-up of Emerging Teams Asia Cup Pakistan in final tomorrow (Saturday) at the same venue.
Earlier, Pakistan confirmed their spot in final eliminating arch-rival India by 03 runs in a nerve shattering first semifinal in Mirpur on Wednesday.
In the Thursday's match, Bangladesh sent Afghanistan to bat first after winning the toss and restricted them in 228 for 9 in 50 overs. Darwish Rasooli smashed 114 runs off 128 balls hitting 7 fours and 7 sixes, Waheedullah Shafaq added 34 and Tariq Stanikzai 33 runs.
