Bangladesh return home after frustrating Malaysia tour

Bangladesh national football team returned home from Kuala Lumpur Thursday after completing a frustrating Malaysia tour, participating in the four-team Group E matches of the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 qualifiers, reports UNB.

The No. 188-ranked Bangladesh bowed out of the tournament, losing all three matches.

The men in red and green suffered a 1-4 defeat against higher-ranked Malaysia in the last group match Tuesday.

This was the seventh win for the No. 154-ranked Malaysia in ten matches against Bangladesh since 1975.
