Bangladesh Spl olympics squad off to China

Bangladesh Special Olympics team left the city Thursday for China to take part in the Special Olympics Summer World Games (OSWG) scheduled to be held in Shanghai from October 2 to 11.
The Bangladesh team consists of 48 players and 19 officials.
Bangladesh will participate in seven disciplines-aquatics, athletics, badminton, bocce, football, table tennis and cricket.
Bangladesh, participating in the Special Olympics Summer World Games since 1995, won 37 gold, 22 silver and 19 bronze medals in the last three Games.
