Bangladesh suffer 0-6 defeat against China

Bangladesh suffered a huge 0-6 goals defeat against China in their second group B match of the 7th Men's Asia Cup Hockey in the southern Indian city of Chennai Saturday, reports UNB.
Earlier, on Friday, Bangladesh made a dream start in the 11-team meet with a record 13-0 goals victory over Thailand, their ever-biggest win in an international match.
In the day's match, Bangladesh conceded three quick goals in the 6th, 11th and 14th minutes to trail the first half 0-3.
Stronger China scored three more goals in the second half in the 39th, 49th and 66th minutes to earn the first victory in their second group match.
In their first group match on Friday, Asian Games silver medallist China conceded 0-1 defeat against hosts India.
Bangladesh will play their 3rd group match against Sri Lanka on Sept 3, the 4th against India on Sept 4 and the 5th and last match against Korea on Sept 6.
In the day's other matches, emerging force Japan shocked former World and Olympics champions Pakistan by 3-1 goals, while South Korea recorded a massive 16-0 victory over Thailand and Malaysia crushed Hong Kong 13-1.
On Friday, Korea outplayed Sri Lanka 12-2, Malaysia beat Singapore 8-0, Pakistan defeated Hong Kong 6-1 and hosts India beat China 1-0 apart from Bangladesh's 13-0 win over Thailand.
