Bangladesh take on Tajikistan today

Bangladesh takes on strong Tajikistan in the Pre World Cup qualifying round home match today (Monday), reports UNB.
The match gets underway at 3:00 pm. Private satellite channel ATN Bangla will telecast live the match from Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The gates No. 6, 11,14, 18 and 19 will be open for the spectators and no ticket will be required.
"Our team comprised some young and experienced players, who have strong fighting attitude to play the match against Tajikistan," said Bangladesh skipper Hasan Al Mamun while talking to the reporters at a press conference at the BFF Bhaban Sunday.
He said that the boys would put up hundred per cent efforts to bring the match at least to a draw.
Coach Nayeemuddin expressed his satisfaction over his boys for having such kind of strong mentality ahead of the big match.
We will go to the field to win against Tajikistan as our boys have strong fighting mentality, said the veteran coach.
Nayeemuddin however admitted that the tourists are physically stronger than us.
Earlier, in the last encounter between the two teams in the AFC challenge Cup in Dhaka last year, Bangladesh suffered 1-6 goals defeat to Tajikistan.
Bangladesh will play the away match on Oct 28 in Tajikistan.
Meanwhile, Tajikistan coach Khabibulloev Makhmadjon expressed his determination of winning today's Pre-World Cup qualifying round match against Bangladesh.
"We beat Bangladesh in a big margin in the AFC Challenge Cup in Dhaka last year, but the hosts are now well prepared to take on us," said Khabibulloev while talking to newsmen.
He informed five booters of his team, who played the last year AFC Challenge Cup in Dhaka also arrived to play the match against Bangladesh.
Khabibulloev, who has been serving as coach for last 10 years, said that they have played two preparatory matches before arriving in Dhaka.
They lost to Azarbaijan by 2-3 goals in the first match but managed 1-1 draw with Kazakistan.
Asked about the game formation he said it would be decided today (Monday).
The Tajik team made practice at the match venue this afternoon.
