Bangladesh to face India today

After two consecutive victories in the AFC Under-16 Women's Championship 2015 Qualifiers, Bangladesh U-16 Women' s football team will face visiting India in their Group-B match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium at 5:00pm today (Sunday), reports UNB.
Bangladesh eves team mauled UAE 6-0 in the second match Friday and achieved a stunning victory against giant Jordan by a solitary goal in the opening day's match Wednesday last while opponent India which played only one match lost to Iran.
Golam Robbani Choton's home side is in the second position below Iran only on the basis of goal difference.
Shadi Mahini-led side's secured top position in the five-nation qualifying table beating India 2-1 in the Friday's match and UAE 9-0 in the opening match of the tournament.
Today (Sunday) the UAE will take on Jordan at 2:00pm at the same venue.
In the remaining group match Bangladesh will face topper Iran Thursday (October 23).
All the five teams are vying for the single ticket available from the group to play in the tournament final round to be held in Wuhan, China, in November next year.
Two teams-South Korea and Chinese Taipei-have already qualified for the eight-nation competition from group C and D respectively while defending champions Japan, DPRK, China and Thailand are direct entrants having finished in the top four in the last edition.
The champions and runners-up in Wuhan will fly the Asian flag at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2016 in Jordan.
