Bangladesh U-17 take 119-run 1st innings lead over CAB

Bangladesh Under-17 team took a 119-run first innings lead over touring Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Under-17 team scoring 262 for 7 (declared) in 99.4 overs on the 2nd day of the second three-day match at the Comilla Stadium Friday, reports UNB.
Resuming the first innings with overnight 41 for no loss Friday morning, hosts Under-17 team, riding on a polished 80 runs by skipper Liton Kumar Das and 70 runs by opener Rafsan Al Mahmud, posted a challenging total against the visitors.
Abhimanyu claimed two wickets for 39 runs.
In reply, visiting CAB Under-17 team, which were dismissed for 143 runs in the first innings, resumed the 2nd innings in the afternoon and scored 14 for no loss at stumps on the 2nd day of the match.
Avishek Mishra and Shuvam Dey were batting with 3 and 7 runs respectively.
In the first three-day match at Sylhet, Bangladesh Under-17 Cricket team earned a comfortable 136 runs victory over the visitors last Monday.
