Bangladesh U-17 win over CAB

Bangladesh Under-17 Cricket team earned a comfortable 136-run victory against touring Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Under-17 side in the first three-day match that concluded Monday at the Sylhet Divisional Stadium, reports UNB.
Bangladesh Under-17 team, which scored 230 runs in the first innings Sunday, resumed the 2nd innings Monday with overnight 17 for no loss in 10 overs and declared the innings at 176 for 6 in 46.2 overs.
Middle order Liton Kumar contributed innings highest 53 runs off 74 balls with nine fours, Bayazid Amin 37 runs off 46 balls with three fours while opener Zahed Zaved added another useful 29 runs off 49 balls that included five fours.
Pritom and Eshwaran took two wickets each for 26 and 38 runs respectively.
Chasing a target of 243 runs in the 2nd innings, visiting CAB Under-17 team, which made 164 in the first innings, were bundled out for 107 runs to concede a humiliating 136-run defeat against the home side.
Eshwaran and Avijit Singh scored 24 runs each while Suvam Dey and Pritom made 16 runs each for the tourists.
Zubair Hossain caused the major damage to CAB innings grabbing four wickets for 34 runs while Rahatul Ferdous and Sukanta Kumar took two wickets each for 11 and 14 runs respectively.
