A nine-member Bangladesh team - five from athletics and four from boxing - is expected to leave the city for India within a week to take two months' higher training at Tata Sports Academy in Jamshedpur, reports UNB.
This is a follow up training programme for the local athletes and boxers at Tata Sports Academy after a three-month training by a Bangladesh team in the latter part of last year.
Of the five members in the athletics team, three are athletes and two coaches while a coach will accompany the four-member boxing team.
Tata Sports Academy will bear the entire expenses of accommodation and food for the 9-member team during their stay in the Academy while Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) will bear the travel cost and pocket money of the team members.
