Barnak Samaj, Police win

Barnak Samaj and Police AC earned massive wins in the Green Delta Insurance Metropolis First Division Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.

In the day's first match, Barnak Samaj outclassed Combined SC by 7-1 goals.

Mohammad Sohel scored three goals, Alamgir Islam struck twice while Rabiul Hasan and Mehedi Hasan netted one goal each for the winners.  Robin netted the consolation goal for the losers.

In the day's other match, Police AC crushed Farashganj SC by 9-1 goals.

Hamidur Rahman scored five goals while Jewel Mondal, Shiblul Hasan, Rana Das and Anisuzzaman netted one goal each for the winners.  Krishna Kumar netted the consolation goal for the losers.

Today's matches: Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha vs Shishu Kishore Sangha, and Dhaka Railway SC vs Shantinagar SC.
