BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom, July 06 (Agencies): England have seen massive growth in Test cricket since the reconstruction of their think tank.

England, who had won just one of seventeen games since their India tour in 2021, have emerged victorious in four consecutive Test matches under their new captain-coach duo of Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum.

Earlier, England clean-swept New Zealand in the recently concluded three-match series. Further, the three lions registered an emphatic victory over a robust Indian team in the Edgbaston Test, continuing their prolific run in red-ball cricket. With each victory of this England team, the discussions about the 'Bazball' is getting intensified.

'Bazball' is a term used to refer to the cricketing ideologies of Brendon McCullum. The England batters were able to fulfil McCullum's demand of 'positive batting' in the Test match.

Well that might be the conclusion of some fans who watched a resurgent England make light of a chase of 378 in the Covid-delayed fifth Test against India.

It was the latest example of 'Bazball' in action, with a seven-wicket win in Birmingham England's fourth successful chase in as many Tests under a new leadership duo of coach Brendon McCullum and captain Ben Stokes following a 3-0 whitewash of Test world champions New Zealand.

England have won all four Tests under new coach Brendon "Baz" McCullum and skipper Ben Stokes with a fearless new mentality, including thrashing India on Tuesday.

That series saw England chase down seemingly stiff targets of 277, 299 and 296.

No England side, however, had previously made more to win in the fourth innings of a Test than 359, when Stokes' brilliant century secured a thrilling victory over Australia at Headingley three years ago.
