BCB Academy beat Rajshahi Div

GP-BCB National Cricket Academy team defeated Rajshahi Division in a one-day practice match at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra Saturday ahead of the ensuing National Cricket League, reports UNB.
Sent into bat first, Rajshahi Division were dismissed for 121 in 32.1 overs. Left-handed opener Junaed Siddique scored innings highest 42 runs off 40 balls with seven fours while all-rounder Farhad Reza made second highest 23 runs off 28 balls with four fours.
Spinner Mosharraf Hosain Rubel and pacer Dollar Mahmud claimed three wickets each for 16 and 33 runs respectively while another pacer Talha Jubair took two wickets for 35 runs.
In reply, the Academy team reached their target of 122 runs in 36 overs for the loss of six wickets. Dollar Mahmud remained unbeaten on 27 playing 19 balls that featured three fours and a six, while skipper Nasiruddin Faruq made 25 off 70 balls with two fours.
Farhad Reza grabbed three wickets for 39 runs while pacer Mohammad Shahzada took two wickets for 27 runs.
Earlier, on Friday, Bangladesh Under-19 team upset Barisal Division by 27 runs in the first one-day practice match at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Rajshahi Division play National Cricket Academy team in another match today (Sunday) at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium.
Then Dhaka Division will face the Bangladesh Under-19 team on October 8 at the Mirpur Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Khulna Division will play two practice matches against BCB National Cricket Academy team on October 9 and 10 at the Bir Shrestho Shaheed Motiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna.
